Scientific Notes

This artwork is derived from an immunocytochemistry image. In this picture, two astrocytes can be seen in white, labeled with an antibody to the cytoskeletal filamentous protein GFAP. One whole oligodendrocyte and a piece of a second one can also be seen, labeled with an antibody for the membrane protein CNP1 (red) and another for Opalin (orange). The nuclei of the cells are labeled in blue.
